It's Been A While, and I've Missed You

Let me take this time to my fortunate followers and say I've been away for a little while now, and I'm back with wayy too much to talk about. Not only have I still not seen "Notorious", I have yet been able to think of what designer I'll be paying special attention too, at Fashion Week next week. (That should speak millions about my work load and stress level) Ugh!

Nevermind that.

I took the time to log on to MySpace about two days ago, and noticed the largest ad on the log in page. And what caught my eye was that it read "Survive 2012", and I'm like (WHAT?). Well aparently I am not the only one who is paying attention to this 2012 end of the world fiasco. For those of you puzzeled as to what I am talking about, aparently the world is set to see dramatic change on December 12, 2012, whether it's the end of the world or not, I don't know. But websites and everything else have been giving a variety of information about what they believe, especially the one featured on this particular day on MySpace. A group called the "Institite of Human Continuity" which can be found at (www.instituteforhumancontinuity.com) has developed an acclaimed 94% of accuracy that in 2012, supposively on December 12th, "a mysterious celestial body will enter Earth's orbit in 2012 with disasterous consequences". They even give three reinactment videos that show disaster scenario's that will happen with Planet X, coming into Earth's orbit.

Other 2012 thories say that according to the Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012 the world is set to end. After speaking with one of the greatest teachers of my educational career so far, Jerry Murdock, the misunderstanding of this is that the Mayans don't specifically say that on that particular day the world is set to "end", instead the calendar will begin at 0. Entering something called The New Age of Mayanism.

This indeed A LOT to take in! Because they're is a lot of talk especially on YouTube about how the government has plans with this whole New World Order situation and all that. And while both sides present very interesting arguments, it's all a matter of time before something prevails.

I really wish someone would come out and confirm something- whether it be good or bad, because if the world is set to end in 2012, I'm not trying to sit here and pay $38,000 a year in tuition for a degree that I won't be able to use. . .you know ?

All this, with time to myself.
